Microsoft is making all efforts to stay ahead in the race of AI. The company had changed the name of Binge AI to Copilot some time ago. Now Microsoft has made another change. Actually, the company has changed the name of its Edge browser on Android and iOS to ‘Microsoft Edge: AI browser’. Besides, the company has also changed the images of the apps on Play Store and told about AI. Apart from this, Open AI’s DALL-E 3 has also been mentioned in these pictures.

Features of the new browser

The main features of Microsoft’s new browser include article summary, translation, file transfer, read aloud, personalization and private browsing etc. According to the description on Play Store, Microsoft Edge is your AI-powered browser built with Copilot to improve your browsing experience. Powered by GPT-4, CoPilot enables you to ask questions, refine searches, get comprehensive summaries, and create diagrams with DALL-E 3. The company wrote that the new Microsoft Edge is a smarter way to browse, search, create and shop on the go.

At present the name change is limited to Android and iOS devices only. The company has not changed the name of the app on desktop. It is possible that the company may change its name on desktop also in the coming time.

Company launches Copilot app for Android and iOS

Microsoft has also launched Copilot app for Android and iOS some time ago. With its help you can also generate content and create photos. In Open AI’s Chat GPT, GPT-4 is a paid service whereas in Copilot it is free and it is based on GPT-4. Apart from this app, the company also offers Binge app for Android and iOS. Now the company has many apps which provide the benefits of AI features to the users.
